Erika Lujano (visual artist) and Daniel Bahena (graphic artist and illustrator) are the couple behind the creation of The Enhebra Art Project.
Together they have created unique pieces and art objects in small series, all coming from their own creative and personal inspiration. Erika: “Each individual piece is handmade; the entire manufacturing process is made with our own hands every single step of the way.
Since the beginning, our principal interest has been to create and to transform these volatile ideas into tangible objects and into utilitarian pieces that transform the space of whomever acquires them.”
The naturalistic recurrent theme of Enhebra is the conductive thread of this platform. This concept is basic to share the internal worlds riddled within its roots, its organic materials, inspirational animals and characters living in our everyday lives.
