malaquita design

MAMA WOLF began as an experimental workshop for textile design in Mexico city.

Although Mexico has a very rich tradition of textile based arts, surface or pattern design is very limited. Since 2013 it has been producing original designs and hand printing them on plant based fabrics such as linen or cotton.
We only use water based inks and every design is 100% mexican, manufacturing process included. The little differences in the fabric are the result of hand printed process which requires lots of time and dedication. This small "imperfections" are what makes every MAMA WOLF object completely unique.
